A love for florals

IMG_20140721_113727[1]IMG_20140721_113616[1]

Florals are my life! They are my all time favourite print and are in full bloom this summer (literally and in the fashion sense). They have this charming aesthetic and can be spotted in all seasons. Whether bright and beautiful or dark and wintery they surely are exquisitely elegant. Blue is an unusual hue which makes me love it even more. My chiffon sheer dress is from Forever 21 and glowed on the rails! It was love at first sight. Its versatility is practical and so so so chic, it can be both a kimono or long floaty dress (or both). I adore the shape, the elastic band ensures the figure is cinched at the waist- flattery and beauty.

You can buy it here, http://bit.ly/X52AIg – Floral Kimono Maxi Dress, £18.75

You know how I love my accessories… I went for matching blue floral shades. Very Lana Del Rey. They were an amazing buy from Home Bargains. I was searching for girly false nails and spotted the sunnies. The dressy sun glasses sleek design adds a fashionista statement. My cream and gold necklace is from the lovely Topshop, with a “G” on it (for Grace, my name). My floral (the irony) ring is from a boutique, I love the vintage beauty of it.

I went for a simple eye makeup look and a hot pink lippie look. My bold gloss is Chanel. The lip gloss pretty much glides onto lips and has this gorgeous texture. It has this gorgeous high shine which gives the appearance of fuller and shimmering lips.

Be ladylike in elaborate florals or grungy in dark tones. Show off the print!

Baby Lips Review

Image

Today I went to Westfield’s Superdrug and came across the popular chapsticks. Maybelline “Baby Lips” come in six moisturizing shades. “Pink punch”(gentle pink), “Peach kiss” (glimmering nude), “Grape vine” (purple/wine), “Cherry me” (pink), “Peppermint”(clear) and “Quenched”(clear). Fashion blogs and gurus are obsessing over the tinted lip balm. People choose a shade and scent according to their preference. You guessed it: I chose the pink colour “Pink Punch”.
The cute packaging is enticing… but the quality of the product is truly fabulous. The pigmentation can be faint if you apply a thin layer. If you want thick intensity build up the layers. The texture is ideal, there is no grease or heavy weight consistency. The fragrance is so lovely, I always smell the balm before applying. Aahhh. Its a refreshing tropical scent reminds me of a cocktail.

Also they are SPF 20, they provide instant nourishment and hue to your lips. The product claims there is eight hour protection but I am slathering the baby lips on throughout the day. The product is meant to be eight hour lip renewal, but I reapply to be certain my lips are a pretty colour and feel.

Add sheer opaque or subtle hues to your lips. You will soon have hydrated baby soft lips.

Also when I was in the shop, I was approached by a camera crew to promote Impulse’s new deodorant called “Be surprised”. I commented on the euphoric product, such as the floral scent, light and fresh feeling to the spray. Impulse collaborates violets and red fruits, oriental and extremely feminine.
